It’s been a few weeks since we shared our news about designing the Living Room in the DC Design House, so we thought we’d share a little update. Our friends at Foxcraft have been busy removing light fixtures, protecting floors and rolling up rugs! The window treatments were also painstakingly removed and stored. And Monday marked the official start date for designers to begin their transformations!
We teamed with J.O. Painting Company to transform the rose and buttercream walls, with paint provided by Sherwin Williams. We couldn’t be more excited to share a few photos of the evolution. Remember how it looked before:
Even without the final coat, the room looks fresh, clean, and more contemporary!
And just look at the difference on the other side of the room:
We are anxious to see what transpires in the coming weeks, and we’ll be sure to share our progress as we go.
Of course nothing will compare to seeing the house in person. We hope you can all make it out to see us in October!
