Margery believes that every person has the ability to create and develop their own personal style and realize the dream of a beautiful home. She collaborates with her clients on every detail to ensure that her clients’ wishes are fulfilled. Interior design comes naturally to Margery, as the daughter of an antiques professional and connoisseur of fine furnishings. Margery has lived all over the country and has traveled overseas extensively. These rich experiences add to her design inspirations on a daily basis. Whether designing a polished townhome in Georgetown or a Relaxed Family Retreat In Great Falls, Margery brings the highest level of service and quality to her clients to create Warm and Inviting Homes.
Margery Wedderburn Interiors, LLC (MWI) was founded in 2000 by Margery Wedderburn. The company has been designing interiors for homes in the greater Washington, DC region as well other parts of the country including California, Colorado and Michigan.
Margery holds a Master of Arts with Honors in Interior Design from George Washington University, Washington, D.C. 1997 as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Business. She has worked in the design field for nearly 30 years. Before starting her own business, she worked for several well-known local interior designers including the internationally-renowned Thomas Pheasant. She gained experience in the hospitality world working for Marriott International in the Architecture & Construction division in the late 1990s.

Bruce Wedderburn
Business Manager, MWI
Bruce has spent his career leading and supporting teams in
sales, marketing and operations. He brings this extensive experience to MWI to assist with marketing, contracting and other behind the scenes details, helping the creative team to shine for our clients.
Casey Thurston
Interior Designer, MWI
Casey graduated from High Point University with a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design. She also studied abroad in Florence, Italy where she received a Certificate in Sustainable Product Design. She loves getting to know clients and creating functional and enchanting spaces that reflect their needs and wants. Her eye for design and attention to detail assists Margery in creating the perfect spaces for you.
Marie Leanio
Accountant, MWI
Marie started her career in construction accounting, holding a senior accounting position with one of California’s top home builders, giving her experience from land acquisition and all processes through the sale and close of escrow. It was during this time that she advanced her accounting skills, continued education and management skills.
Marie joined Margery Wedderburn Interiors in 2014 and has remained an integral part of our team
Valerie Fuller
Procurement Specialist & Bookkeeper, MWI
Valerie grew up in the Denver area and has a Bachelor of Science in Business and a minor in Spanish from Colorado State University. She initially traveled to many local designers’ offices until the world became remote friendly. She loves her job and working with interior designers and their vendors.
Erin Sams
Social Media Manager, MWI
Erin graduated from James Madison University with a Bachelor of Science in Intelligence Analysis, Competitive Intelligence, and Economics. She works as a full time Consultant in Arlington, VA, but provides social media marketing and management consulting on the side. We are pleased to have her as part of our team.
