Summer Table Settings

Summer is finally here and in full swing! With the sun shining it is time to head outdoors, enjoy the weather, and entertain family and friends. From posh pool parties to delightful dinner dates, outdoor dinning is a must during these summer months. A creative table setting is the perfect addition to elevate your summer gathering to the next level. From funky to functional, there is something for every event. Excited, but have no ideas? No worries, because that is where WE come in!

Vibrant Sunflowers add sophistication to any table. The metal lanterns placed on top provide great dimension and height. This is such a great take on the traditional use of flowers when setting a table, place flower stems in a Styrofoam ball to create a flower sphere!

Flower boxes make a great center piece that allow for pops of color and natural textures to be added simultaneously, and what could be cuter than petite pineapples as napkin holders. We may have a bit of a pineapple obsession if we’re being completely honest.

If pineapples aren’t your cup of tea, we love the layers of blue. Don’t be afraid to mix patterns; when separated by neutrals the results can be stunning.

Natural elements are a great addition to any table setting. Clear plates allow the ferns to be the stars. Crisp white napkins accented with wood finishes off the refined forest look.

This black and white striped table runner makes a bold statement. Wide stripes add length to the table, and the floral arrangements add great pops of color with bright pink napkins.

We absolutely adore the red gingham runner. Fresh fruits and flowers bring a new spin on a classic pattern.

Lemons and limes add a fresh twist to a simple table. Finish the look by hollowing out the centers to add fresh herbs and candles.

Use geometric trivets to create a fun and functional centerpiece. We love the combination of colors and textures for a unique table runner.

Natural fibers, light blues, and coastal decor give this table a subtle seaside vibe.

We love utilizing butcher paper as a table runner. It is a cool, casual accent that will work with any look. You can draw directly on your table setting and it makes clean up a breeze!

Hopefully these table settings will elevate your dinner party game.

Stay inspired,

The Margery Wedderburn Interiors Team
