Setting a Table with Succulents

It’s no secret; succulents are all the rage right now. And at Margery Wedderburn Interiors, we are all for it! Not only are they easy care, succulents come in an array of colors, textures and sizes, they are relatively affordable, and they last *way* longer than cut flowers! So in anticipation, or maybe just hopes, of warmer days ahead, we’ve pulled together some images of our favorite spring tables set with succulents!

The rustic vessel, casual, ticking-stripe runner and sweet wild flowers give this table a casual elegance we cannot resist.

Working on the new table presentations by Margery Wedderburn Interiors.

This, more formal, example blends succulents with air plants and protea for a soft palette. The use of different vases and varying heights not only adds interest, but it offers the option of making use of varying plants you may already have in the house, or want to place in multiple locations in your home after your event.

These pretty purple Echeveria are the focal point of this otherwise simple table setting. We just love how they are complimented by fresh flowers, cacti, and grasses. The textural blend is really, really pretty!

For a more monochromatic aesthetic, try accenting your succulents with natural elements and candlelight. This setting is not only lovely, it won’t break the bank. And all of the accents could be used again, and again, and again!

Want a little more sparkle? dip the edges of your succulents in metallic paint, or apply gold-leaf to the tips. We just love the soft greens paired with pinks, corals and golds!

We are so inspired by this look, we have a little something up our sleeves that we’ll be sharing with you soon. Stay tuned and stay inspired!
